Overview
ChemSee’s Food Poison Detection Kits are the only detection Kits for poisons in food that have been positively validated by the U.S. Department of Defense. For additional information on the Kit’s validation, visit our validation information page.
The STPD Poison Detection Kit includes everything one needs to analyze a sample of food for Cyanide, Azide, Sulfide, Chromate, Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Thallium and Arsenic-containing compounds.
Note: The STPD is significantly lower in price than the KT-06 Food Poison Detection Kit, but it does not have built-in quality assurance tabs used to validate its performance. The STPD Kit has a shelf life of six months, and should be stored in a refrigerated environment. The STPD uses the same detection methods as the KT-06 Kit which has been validated by many agencies, including the North Carolina State University Food Science Department.
